From childhood garage discos at Smoke Acre to Christmases together (with ward visiting to his patients of course!!) and lots of happy family celebrations. I always loved the hospital atmosphere and that carried on whilst doing work experience with him at RHCH aged 14/15. I was proud to follow him into Medicine and always loved updating him on what I was up to, especially once I started working at Barts hospital for a while. I looked up to him, I loved him and I will miss him.
